ABOUT THE SITE

We are located near the charming town of Kirkbymoorside, which locals lovingly call the Gateway to the Moors. Our small touring site is set in picturesque parkland on the outskirts of the North York Moors. The location is perfect for those who enjoy exploring, with the attractions of Castle Howard and Flamingo Land within a 20 minute drive!

We offer basic facilites, with no toilets and showers. Our site is suitable for campervans, caravans and motorhomes only, with only six pitches for those looking to escape the crowds. With convenient access to the Moors bus, you can easily explore the entirety of North Yorkshire, including the historic city of York and the county's beautiful coastline.

We are a Freedom Camping Club CS, but membership of the club for guests is free.

ABOUT THE SITE

Welcome to our peaceful touring site! We are nestled amidst tall trees and bordered by a working farm, surrounded by picturesque countryside. Immerse yourself in nature with an array of excellent walking and cycling routes, some of which begin right at our doorstep.

We offer level gravel pitches, each measuring around 8m x 6m, with optional electric hook-ups and convenient car parking right at your pitch. Water access is nearby for your convenience.

Three dogs are also allowed per pitch, but breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted. BBQs are also permitted if raised from the ground, and fire pits are available for your use.

Our site is open all year round.

FACILITIES

Please note, there are no toilets or showers onsite. However, you can access free WiFi, and there are complimentary fire pits, with logs available to buy.

You can find shops in Kirkbymoorside and enjoy delicious pub food and takeaways nearby. The bus stop is just a short walk from the site entrance.
